We are currently seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Front Desk / Treatment Coordinator to act as the vital bridge between our clinical team and our patients.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, managing the front desk workflow while seamlessly handling treatment plan presentations. You will handle everything from welcoming patients and managing appointment schedules to breaking down treatment costs, verifying insurance benefits, and facilitating financial arrangements. This role requires a unique blend of exceptional customer service, sharp administrative skills, and a confident, empathetic approach to boosting case acceptance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Relations & Reception:
    • Serve as the welcoming face and voice of the practice, greeting patients warmly upon arrival and handling phone inquiries with professional etiquette.
    • Check patients in and out, ensuring all demographic and health history records remain accurate and up to date.
    • Deliver an outstanding patient experience from initial consultation through the completion of their care journey.
  • Treatment & Financial Coordination:
    • Present comprehensive dental treatment plans to patients with clarity, confidence, and transparency.
    • Educate patients on their diagnosed dental needs, answering questions to address anxieties and build trust.
    • Verify insurance benefits and prepare accurate, easy-to-understand out-of-pocket financial estimates.
    • Discuss payment policies and establish customized financial arrangements (e.g., third-party financing like CareCredit).
    • Follow up diligently on outstanding, unscheduled treatment plans to improve practice case acceptance rates.
  • Scheduling & Operations:
    • Coordinate the patient schedule efficiently to maximize daily provider productivity for both doctors and hygienists.
    • Manage appointment booking, cancellations, confirmations, and recall systems.
    • Act as a reliable liaison between the front office and clinical teams to maintain a smooth daily patient flow.
    • Help the office achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production and collection goals.

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of [1-2 years] preferred, of experience in a dental front office, treatment coordinator, or similar dental administrative role.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of dental insurance processes, and dental terminology.
  • Skills: Exceptional customer service, phone etiquette, and active listening abilities.
